I have been having an awesome time with the kiddos this summer. We have also made some HUGE accomplishments. The biggest is that Claire is FINALLY sleeping through the night in her own crib in her own room. Yes folks, I finally had to let her "cry it out." It only took 2 nights!
She now goes down for the night anywhere between 7:30-9:00, but that will change once school starts. She sleeps 'til anywhere between 7:00 or even 8:00 in were lucky which I am sure will also change when school starts!! Look at my sweet boys! Notice the library book next to them? When spent lots of time this summer at the library, and at "Splish Splash Story Time" which is sponsored by the library.
We have also had lots of visits with really awesome friends. Anna is a college friend of mine, and she came to visit with her daughter Bridget who is only a couple weeks younger than Claire. It is so funny to watch babies play!!
Ethan took the above pic so that was as good as it gets!!! We have had lots of visits with other friends that I don't have any shots of. My boys have grown fussy with having their picture taken non-stop so I am trying to give them a bit of a breather sometimes :)
Doug and I have our hands full with our kiddos! Our oldest son, Ethan,is 10 and will be a 5th grader this fall. Our 6 year old son, Davin, keeps us on our toes with all of his dare devil stunts. Our little princess, Claire Bethany, is 3. We also have a rat terrier named Diesel. I teach elementary music/choir, and I love my job! Doug works as an irrigation manager for Valleycrest Landscape. Our children and our jobs keep us very busy, but we have been and continue to be very blessed on this adventure we he have co-created!
We're ready to play again! I can't believe its already pretty much mid-August :(. What water park did you go to? Looks like so much fun!
