Rice cereal, yummy!

Dr. Dhoot said we could go ahead and give Claire boo rice cereal so we decided to give it a shot. She sat in the high chair at the table for dinner like a big girl! She was so excited. We have had this high chair since Ethan used it. The 3 position recline is very helpful!

Here goes nothing....

Align Center
out most of it came
I'm not real sure about this stuff.

trying some more
I think she is going to like it after all!

Silly girl! She almost ate the whole 1 tablespoon :)

A visit with Lucas and Leia

Tuesday we drove to Garland to visit baby Lucas and Leia. We had a lot of fun. We ordered pizza for lunch, and the boys had a great time playing in the backyard with Sara.
Davin liked Sara kisses.

I don't know how people manage twins. Lucas is 3 months and 1 day younger than Claire, but he only weighs 1lb less than her. He will be a big strong boy!

Play time

Getting 2 infants to look at the camera at the same time is extremely difficult!
This pic pretty much said it all

Time to go home

This is as good as it gets. Sweet babies!

4 months old

Claire Bethany is 4 months old!
4 month well check stats: weight 13lbs even (25%) length 24inches (25%)

Your brothers at 4 months were as follows
Ethan: weight 15 lbs 12oz (75%) length 25 1\4 in. (60%)
Davin: weight 13lbs 4oz (25%) length 25 3\4 in. (85%)

What a sweet little girl you are. You are also teething now, and you love to chew chew chew (even on your dress)!!

You still eat every 3 hours during the day, and are taking 50z per feeding at Grandma's house. At least you are sleeping from about 9pm-5am straight now!
You love to watch people and lights, and grab at your toys. Everything you are able to grab goes straight to your mouth.
This little doll is your favorite toy as of now.
You were trying to figure out the camera
What a sweet smile
laughing at Daddy

A visit to Santa

Here are my three little angels on their 2009 visit to Santa. We always go to the Denton mall because that is were the "real Santa" goes. The other Santa's are Santa's brothers. This year Ethan asked for a dodge charger police car, and an Imaginext rocket ship. Davin asked for the police car as well and "that bicycle" which is a Fisher Price Smart Cycle. Claire doesn't seem to care what she gets.

in front of the tree at home

Sunday was a nice day outside so we decided to take a mini-hike to the pond that is on the other side of the undeveloped pasture across the street from our house. It's nothing special, but the kids had fun.
Claire didn't find it to be all that exciting. On our way back to the neighborhood.

Christmas gathering

Last Saturday evening our friends joined us for a little Christmas celebration. It was really neat to have our established, unconditional friends of many years hanging out with family and new friends. I figure if our new friends still like us after that, they will be life long friends as well
(You know we love you guys ;) )!!!

Janne was even able to join us!

Some of us gals plus Micah.

The guys are hanging in the kitchen snacking on the yummy brisket Doug smoked. This is before they built the giant bon fire in the empty lot across the street. I missed it, and of course the guys didn't take any pics. I stayed inside where it was warm with baby Claire, Ashlea, and baby Micah.

I believe this picture was taken right before Davin pushed the button on the blender that had no lid and a fork inside of it. My kitchen was covered in bellini floor to ceiling, and the fork was propelled across the room . Thank goodness it landed next to Sarah and not in her head!!
At least you can't say it wasn't eventful :)

I really wish this picture of the kids hadn't turned out so blurry because it was super cute! Especially Mikey and Lauren. Jake's expression was hilarious. Rachel wanted to lay on her tummy, and of course Ethan is close to Rachel, and Davin is close to Ethan. Oh, well!

December play times

December has been a month of indoor play since winter seems to have arrived early with cold front after cold front. Santa sent an elf to our house on December 5th to make sure the Seale children were playing nicely. The boys named our Elf Bert. He hides all sorts of crazy places. Last night he decided to hide inside our wreath.

Ethan loves to hang out with Claire.

Look at what a big girl she is!! She loves to roll over and play on her tummy.

Claire loves "tummy time picture show." This toy was a favorite of all three of my babies. I am so glad that I kept it. I bought this toy shortly after Ethan was born, and haven't seen one in stores again since.

Her hair is so silly.

Daddy took Davin out on Saturday morning so Ethan and Michael could have "big boy" play time without a 2 year old getting in the middle of everything. Doug took Davin to Home Depot where they just happened to be doing a workshop. Davin was so proud of his wagon and his very own souvenir apron.

The only problem was big brother was a little upset that he missed out on this unexpected fun. Doug has promised he will take them both to the January workshop to build a calendar.

The boys enjoyed going to the Christmas parade with their Grandpa so much that they decided to make a parade of their own. The parade went all the way from the game room, down the stairs, down the hall, in the living room, and around the coffee table.

The parade is on its way back towards the stairs. I never knew they had 37 vehicles, but they really do play with all of them. Davin is pantless, which is not unusual right now ")
