LegoLand

Yesterday, we got out and about bright and early to go meet Kimberly and Keaton at the new Lego Land inside Grapevine Mills. We stopped by the hospital on the way there to pick up Rachel so she could join in on the fun. Claire also got to meet baby Lila for the first time. She asked if she could give her a kiss. What sweet girls!
Lego Buzz Lightyear! Yes, he is made entirely out of Legos!

We lucked out and planned our visit on the busiest day they have had the entire summer, and had to wait in line for 2 hours before we could even get inside. I am glad they provided some in line entertainment!

I even walked down to the food court and brought back Sonic for everyone, and we had a picnic line sitting down in line!

Ethan even ran into one of his friends from school in line.

Finally in the holding room before the super short tour.
It is hard to see him, but Ethan got chosen as a volunteer to pull one of the levers to turn on the Lego making machine.
Our first ride. It was a car on a track, and you had to shoot at different bad guys that popped up to save the Lego Princess! Claire took her bad guy shooting very seriously!!
Lego Dirk!!!!!
The kiddos with Lego Dirk. He is a true to life size at 7 ft. tall.

Play time!!!!

Rachel and the Lego guitar in the Princess Palace.

Claire had to much and had to snooze for a few.

Lego Dallas was the kids favorite part (next to the 4D movie), and I must admit the it was pretty cool!!!!!! It is all the major DFW landmarks constructed out of Lego. It is even day and night in this room, and when it gets dark there is a really neat fireworks display.
Claire loved all the Lego animals, but she was mad that she wasn't allowed to sit on them.

Kimberly and I were two tired mommies at the end of it all, but we did have a good time! I would like to revisit Lego Land sometime when it isn't as crowded. I was informed by others that had been there several times before that it was much more enjoyable when it wasn't ridiculously crowded like yesterday was.
