Ethan has loved anything to do with emergency vehicles since he was about 2 years old, but his favorites have always been the firetruck and ambulance, and that has not changed!!! He asked to have the fire truck come to our house for his birthday party 3 difference years, but this year he wanted to take his party to the fire station. The new fire station in Argyle on Copper Canyon said yes, and Ethan was super excited!
The fire fighters let Ethan wear their gear.
Claire enjoyed exploring the grounds.
He got to open all of his awesome presents in the fire house living room!
He and his friends got to have cake and ice cream at the fire fighters kitchen table!
Yet another fire truck cake.
They were doing some outdoor training during Ethan's party, and they brought all the kids out back to see it all!
The fire men even talked to the kids about fire safety, and showed them what a fire fighter would most likely be wearing if they ever had to rescue them from a fire.
Everyone got a turn to sit in the fire truck.
Happy 8th birthday, big boy! Each year seems to pass more quickly!
