We had a lovely Thanksgiving despite some minor glitches like a turkey that wasn't completely thawed, and a power outage that lasted over an hour. Doug roasted a lemon herb butter turkey, and it was his best one yet.
Friday was gorgeous outside so my parents and I packed up the kiddos and headed to the Heard Museum in McKinney to see their "Dinosaurs Alive" exhibit on the trails. Aunt Whitney met us there. The kids had a great time and loved that the dinosaurs moved and roared. Doug continued his painting mission here at the house without "little helpers."
This tree is over 250 years old.
