Our family has enjoyed watching the Winter Olympics from Vancouver together in the evenings. The boys love the speed skating, and even put on their house shoes and "speed skate" around the kitchen.
I snapped some shots of the kiddos watching the Olympics on the couch together last night. The sweater thing was not planned!!! Too funny they matched!!!
We will all be a little sad when the Olympics are over this weekend!
My sweet Claire, also known as "Boodle Miss," is already 6 months old. I am not sure how the whole "Boodle Miss" thing started. I was hoping to have all the 6 months stats, etc. Unfortunately her scheduled well check got changed to a sick visit. My sweet little girl has RSV, and it has been no fun.You can tell she does not feel well looking at these pics, but she still babbled away. Her favorite babble sound is "da da." Doug likes to rub that in my face! :)
We have been do albuterol treatments with the nebulizer since Monday. These treatments make her very hyper, but they have helped.
The one comment Dr. Dhoot made was about her weight. She only weighed 14lbs 12oz at her sick visit. That is probably because she did not eat much for a few days. Hopefully next week she will be all better, and I can give more accurate stats :)
This was the view from my dining room window the morning of Thursday, February 11th, 2010. School was canceled, and we had no idea how much more snow was to come.
The boys couldn't stand it, so I bundled them up, and let them go in the backyard.
When Daddy came home that afternoon, we all bundled up and went out to build a snowman!
Doug had to shovel the driveway.

Friday morning, after a record breaking snowfall of 12.5"
Friday afternoon we went out for round 2 in the snow.
Ethan tried to paint his snowman with some powdered chalk, but ran out really quickly. He decided that his snowman looked like a cowboy that got shot and wet his paints.
Claire joined us briefly.
Davin the snowman :)
Snow Angels
Claire touches snow for the first time.
Daddy took Claire back inside where it was warm after about 5 minutes.
Claire jumped every time a snow ball hit the window.
Doug and I have our hands full with our kiddos! Our oldest son, Ethan,is 10 and will be a 5th grader this fall. Our 6 year old son, Davin, keeps us on our toes with all of his dare devil stunts. Our little princess, Claire Bethany, is 3. We also have a rat terrier named Diesel. I teach elementary music/choir, and I love my job! Doug works as an irrigation manager for Valleycrest Landscape. Our children and our jobs keep us very busy, but we have been and continue to be very blessed on this adventure we he have co-created!
